What we know
Sen. Lisa Murkowski endorsed Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins in Alaska's governor race on Tuesday, NBC News reported.
The endorsement passes over Bernadette Wilson, the Republican Trump endorsed earlier this month, with Election Day one week away.
Murkowski said the three Republicans on the ranked-choice ballot are too partisan and that a governor must work with the Legislature.
Kreiss-Tomkins, a former state lawmaker, said he respects Murkowski's integrity and her record of working across the aisle.
Wilson said Murkowski abandoned Alaska values and accused Kreiss-Tomkins of loyalty to extreme socialists.
